I will be speaking at the Agile Conference Mexico 2013 from Sept 4-6 this year. Not only am I keynoting at the conference about Disciplined Agile Delivery (DAD) on the 5th, I am also delivering two DAD-related workshops:
- How to Coordinate an Agile Organization, Sept 4th. This workshop will provide an overview of agile and lean methods, with emphasis on how to the roles that people take on agile teams, their responsibilities, how to organize agile team, how agile teams coordinate internally and externally, and how to adopt agile methods at the organizational level.
- Disciplined Agile Delivery, Sept 6th. Disciplined Agile Delivery (DAD) is an IT process framework designed to deliver sophisticated solutions in an agile business. DAD is based on practices of agile methods such as Scrum, Extreme Programming (XP), Lean software development, Unified Process and Agile Modeling, adding other aspects necessary for success in business contexts with multiple projects. DAD covers the gaps left by other methods to provide guidance for planning and starting complex projects and apply a full lifecycle.
I’m really looking forward to this event. I’ve always had great experiences with both Cutter and Software Guru, the two companies that are organizing the event, and I love visiting Mexico in general. Hope to see you there.
